I'm a mom, community safety advocate, and civic engagement leader who believes that the Texas Legislature should work for Texans, not special interests.

A Korean adoptee, I grew up on a working farm in a Mennonite community in rural Pennsylvania. My husband, Mike, and I moved to San Antonio as newlyweds in 2006, and our daughter was born here in 2010.

As a mom, my first priority will always be making sure that my daughter is safe - so when she had to practice hiding from active shooters in kindergarten, I couldn’t accept that we were asking our kids to be brave instead of holding our lawmakers accountable to keep our schools and communities safe. I got involved in volunteer advocacy work and have served as a local and state leader since 2016. I chose to run because I believe that we need leaders who understand the challenges that our families are facing, and who will prioritize the needs of our community over partisanship and political stunts.

With your help, we'll win this seat for our HD121 community and I will do all I can to fight for us in the Texas Legislature. Together we can safeguard the opportunity to succeed for our families and for generations of Texans to come.

See you in the district!
